About
Prachi

Prachi Patel, PA-C, is a dedicated Physician Assistant at Orthopedic Partners, where she works closely with Dr. Thoms in the evaluation and management of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. She is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and helping individuals restore function, mobility, and confidence in their daily lives.

Prachi earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) in Boston. During her clinical training, she developed a strong passion for orthopedics, with a particular interest in musculoskeletal medicine and surgical care. Her education and hands-on experience have equipped her with the skills needed to support patients through every stage of their treatment journey.

Drawn to the PA profession for its collaborative nature, Prachi values building meaningful relationships with her patients and being an active partner in their care. She takes pride in creating an environment where patients feel heard, supported, and well-informed. Whether helping someone recover from an injury, manage a chronic condition, or prepare for and recover from surgery, she emphasizes shared decision-making and individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals.

As a Connecticut native, Prachi is grateful for the opportunity to begin her career serving the community she calls home. She is dedicated to delivering evidence-based care and helping patients return to the activities they enjoy most.

Outside of the clinic, Prachi enjoys watching sports—especially football and basketball—traveling, taking workout classes, and spending quality time with friends and family. She looks forward to working alongside Dr. Thoms and collaborating with the Orthopedic Partners team to provide exceptional patient care.
