Liam Forstein, PA-C, is a dedicated Physician Assistant committed to delivering patient-centered orthopedic care with a strong emphasis on communication, collaboration, and individualized treatment. Originally from eastern Connecticut, Liam is proud to return home and serve the community after spending over a decade training and working out of state.
Liam earned his Bachelor of Science from James Madison University before continuing his education with a Master of Science from Texas State University and a Master of Medical Science from Wake Forest School of Medicine. His diverse educational background has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of patient care, blending clinical expertise with a compassionate, whole-person approach.
Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Liam served as the Head Football Athletic Trainer at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School. In this role, he managed acute musculoskeletal injuries, developed rehabilitation programs, and educated athletes on injury prevention. This hands-on experience laid the foundation for his passion in orthopedics and strengthened his ability to connect with patients, understand their goals, and create personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
In addition to his clinical experience, Liam has demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to inclusive care. As President of the Diversity & Belonging in Medicine organization at Wake Forest School of Medicine, he worked to promote equitable healthcare and foster environments where all patients feel respected, heard, and supported. These values continue to guide his approach as a provider today.
Outside of the clinic, Liam enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and being with his two dogs, Banjo and May. He brings the same energy and enthusiasm from his personal life into his practice, striving to create a welcoming and positive experience for every patient he treats.
Liam is proud to be part of the Orthopedic Partners team and is committed to helping patients move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what they love.
